FAQ
-
How much does Squarespace Cost?
You can find Squarespace's pricing on their website, but most of my clients require either the Business Plan, or the Basic Commerce Plan.
(Note: This cost, along with the cost of your domain, is separate to my website design fee.)
-
Do you create website designs on other platforms?
I currently only design websites on Squarespace. When I was looking for my own website for my art business, I tried all of the most popular websites and Squarespace came out on top every single time. I’ve now worked with Squarespace for over 3 years so I’m confident in its capabilities and ease of use for my clients.
-
How long does a custom website design take?
I can usually get started within 1-2 weeks of your deposit and I aim to finish between 1 and 4 weeks depending on what package you choose.
-
Should I get a website template or a custom website design?
The choice on whether to choose a website template or a custom website design build depends on two things: your budget and your current business needs. If you are just starting out, with a limited budget and need to get online quickly then a website template is probably best for you. If you have a higher budget, need more details on your website and are a bit more flexible on time, then a custom build might better suit your needs. If you would like to discuss these options please contact us.
-
Will I need a squarespace account to use a template?
Yes, you will need a paid Squarespace account to use a Squarespace template. Squarespace templates are designed to be used within the Squarespace platform, which means you need to have an active Squarespace account to access the platform's features, customize your template, and publish your website. Once you purchase a template from a designer (First Fix Media), you can import it into your Squarespace account and then proceed with building and customizing your website using Squarespace's tools and features.

Why are your prices so affordable compared to other designers?
First of all let me start by saying that I am a business owner myself - not just as a freelancer but also as an artist that sells artwork all over the world.
I know from first-hand experience how vital it is to have an online presence and I also know how daunting (and sometimes expensive) it can all be.
My goal is to help other small businesses succeed online with affordable services that are accessible to everyone - with any budget.
I truly believe there is space for everyone online and I pride myself on being able to provide top-quality service at a reasonable price.

Are website templates refundable?
Due to the digital nature of website templates, purchases will not be refunded or exchanged for any reason. To be perfectly clear, these reasons do NOT qualify for a refund:
Changing your mind
Not understanding Squarespace
Not reading a template’s description fully
Ignoring installation warnings or requirements
Having conflicting code that makes code malfunction
If Squarespace updates code, functionality, or in any way changes the nature of the platform, resulting in visual or technical conflicts.
Finding a bug or error in a template.
Refusing to accept support in using a template.
Deleting the template from your account.
Asking for a refund.
If you have ANY questions, problems, issues, or concerns before or after purchasing a template, we’d be more than happy to talk it through and figure out a solution that works for you.
